New Delhi: Today, November 5 is the 2024 United States presidential election day and opposite Republican Donald Trump is Democratic Kamala Harris. Her full name is Kamala Devi Harris. She is the 49th and current vice president of the United States since 2021, serving under President Joe Biden.

At the peak of the US elections, an America based industrialist Shalabh Shalli Kumar has launched a diatribe at Harris over her religious faith and actions vis-a-vis India.

Kamala Harris’ policies anti-India, pro-Pakistan, wants a free Kashmir

Shalabh Shalli Kumar alleged that Kamala Harris has radical views on Kashmir and India will have to be conscious. “She is Hindu by name but her actions and policies are anti-India. She wants a free Kashmir. Five to seven people in her campaign are pro-Pakistanis,” he alleged.

Shalabh Shalli Kumar is a Chicago-based Indian American industrialist, affiliated with the Republican Party. He is also the founder of the Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s and Donald Trump’s friendship

On Monday, November 4, he called Kamala Harris’s policies and actions as being anti-Indian as election campaigning drew to a close across the USA. Kumar emphasised the ‘friendship’ between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump to underscore his point.

Kumar was born in Ambala, Haryana, in 1948. He came to the United States as a foreign student when he was 20. He has predicted that the US elections would ultimately be decided by the Hindu and Indian votes in the battleground states.

“Which is almost a million votes in seven battleground states when you combine them”.

Among other charges, Kumar claimed that Pakistan had become a satellite state of China and posed a big challenge to India and the USA as he raked up the issue of Democrats (Kamala Harris and current president Joe Biden) accusing the BJP and PM Modi of “persecuting minorities” in India whenever they got a chance to raise the issue.

Donald Trump’s position on Hindus in India is very, very clear

“Forget about what’s happening in Bangladesh. Forget about what’s happening everywhere else. Forget about what’s happening in Canada against Hindus. To them, Hindus are the majority and radical Islam is the minority,” he said.

“President Trump and PM Modi are good friends and hence the next four years are going to be great under the presidency of Donald Trump. Trump’s position on Hindus in India is very, very clear. It has been clear since 2016 when he attended the New Jersey rally on October 15,” he added.
