Washington, October 13: Internationally wanted terrorist and India’s enemy number 1, Hafiz Saeed had a sentimental moment yesterday. Of course, the sentiments revolved around the target of his terrorism. Saeed who has orchestrated many a terror attack in India and who still happens to hold rallies openly in the streets of Pakistan, yesterday said that the US was Pakistan’s real enemy and that Pakistan needed to focus on building ties with India.
Dismissing the terrorist’s absurd and frankly repulsive statements, the spokesperson for the State Department of the United States, John Kirby said today, ” I’m not going to dignify comments of an avowed terrorist one way or other.” Kirby also commented on the fact that Pakistan had allowed the mastermind of the dastardly Mumbai terror attack of 2008, not only roam around freely but also provide him with public platforms to make absurd statements. Commenting on this, John Kirby added, ” We continue to urge Pakistan to take steps to shut down access to areas inside their borders to terrorists, terrorist individuals and groups.” Kirby further referred to Saeed who is a wanted man by both India and the United States, and said, “As I’ve said before,we continue to want to see perpetrators of Mumbai attack brought to justice.”
Saeed who is a recipient of unbound freedom despite his terror attacks, yesterday mocked the United States from Pakistani soil and said, ” There is a bounty worth crores on me but in the last five years US could not achieve anything out of it. I am at peace when India gets worried about me or when US comes to Pakistan asking about me.” (ALSO READ: Nationalist theme for Dussehra 2016: With Ravana, effigies of ‘terrorism’ featuring Hafiz Saeed, Nawaz Sharif to go up in flames)
The main “sorrow” that the terrorist is experiencing right now is the “plight” of Kashmiris. Criticising the Pakistani government for failing to resolve the Kashmir issue, Hafiz Saeed said, “Kashmiris are laying down their lives… the problem is with those sitting in Parliament in Pakistan, who have been voted to power by you. They are the real roadblocks because they have to look the US’ way.”
The mass murderer then added that people in Kashmir would not settle for anything less than freedom. He said, “Instead of the US, you (government) should build ties with India. The US would block such an effort,” Saeed said. There have recently been voices within Pakistan questioning the need to protect Saeed who was a cause for Pakistan’s diplomatic isolation. Talking about this, Saeed said the day Kashmir gets aazadi, India would know the pain of being lonely. Inciting people to fight for Kashmir, he said, “All parties should come together for Kashmir’s freedom. India cannot do anything. Don’t remember the US but remember Allah.”
