New York, Nov 8: Americans will cast their votes today in the US Presidential Elections 2016. A last minute relief from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the controversial e-mail server issue has given Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton edge over rival Donald Trump. A poll suggested Hillary Clinton has 90 per cent chances of becoming the next president of the United States of America. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump yesterday made their last push to convince voters one day before the US Presidential Elections 2016. While Hillary Clinton urged voters to embrace a “hopeful, inclusive, bighearted America”, Donald Trump vowed to “beat the corrupt system.”
A day after FBI said Hillary Clinton should not face criminal charges over her use of a personal e-mail server, the final Fox News national pre-election poll suggested that the Democratic presidential nominee has a four percentage-point lead over Republican rival Donald Trump. The poll said Hillary Clinton led Donald Trump by 48-44 per cent. Political analysts believe the last minute relief from the FBI gave major boost to Hillary Clinton’s campaign. However the race still remains close in the US presidential elections 2016.
According to the final Reuters/Ipsos States of the Nation project, Hillary Clinton has about a 90 per cent chance of defeating Republican Donald Trump in the US Presidential elections 2016. The survey found that Hillary Clinton was leading Donald Trump by about 45 per cent to 42 per cent in the popular vote. Hillary Clinton is likely to win 303 votes in the Electoral College to Trump’s 235, clearing the 270 needed for victory, said the poll. Donald Trump’s performance in Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Ohio will be the key point in the US Presidential elections 2016 against his rival Hillary Clinton. Chinton has a slim lead of three percentage points in these states. Any combination of two losses in the three states of Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania would almost confirm the victory of Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is accused of using her family’s private email server for official communications, rather than official State Department email accounts maintained on federal servers during her tenure as United States Secretary of State. In July, the FBI said she had been “extremely careless” to handle classified material on a private email server as secretary of state from 2009-13, but it had found no evidence she committed a crime.
However, 11 days before the election, FBI director James Comey had pitched the race into turmoil by announcing a newly discovered batch of Clinton emails would be investigated. The bombshell infuriated the Clinton camp, but threw a lifeline to a Trump campaign that had been receding in the polls. But the latest development could help Hillary Clinton put to rest a controversy that has dogged her in the 2016 race’s closing days.
