A CCTV clip has captured the moment a massive bomb blast struck a busy street near the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province, which left at least 10 dead and 32 injured. The footage, which has been widely shared on social media platforms, shows vehicles plying on the road when a powerful explosion rips through the area.

According to Dawn, at least 10 people were killed in the bombing, while 32 other sustained grievous injuries. Confirming the death toll, Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar said the injured were rushed to the nearby Civil Hospital for treatment, the report said.
The local police said only eight bodies were brought to the Civil Hospital after the deadly blast, which occurred when a vehicle turned from Model Town towards Hali Road, near the FC headquarters, Dawn reported.
In a statement, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti condemned the incident and said four terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security following the terrorist attack.
“The terrorists cannot weaken the nation’s resolve through cowardly acts. The sacrifices of the people and security forces will not go in vain. We remain committed to making Balochistan peaceful and secure. I express solidarity with the families of the martyrs, pray for the elevation of their ranks, and for the speedy recovery of the injure,” Bugti wrote on X.
Meanwhile, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari described it as a “suicide attack”
Notably, the Baloch Republican Party (BRM) had accused the Frontier Corps (FC) is backing an armed group known as the “Death Squad” to forcibly occupy the ancestral lands of the late tribal leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
