“The issue of Security Council reform is particularly important. Russia calls for its democratization, including through expanding representation from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. We support Brazil and India’s applications for permanent seats on the Council, as well as the redress of historical injustices against Africa within the parameters agreed upon by the continent’s countries themselves”, the Russian Foreign Minister said while calling for UNSC reforms.
