New Delhi: Several individuals worldwide who use Microsoft Windows 10 are presently facing a common glitch – Blue Screen of Death errors – due to an updated version of Crowdstrike. This problem has left computers unable to move beyond the recovery page. Many have resorted to sharing snapped images of their static screens on social platforms, displaying a text that reads, “It looks like Windows didn’t load correctly. If you’d like to restart and try again, choose Restart my PC below.”

As per the media reports, the bug has impacted several banks, companies, and government offices globally across the US, India and Australia. Akasa Airlines has requested passengers with immediate travel plans to reach the airport early to check in at our counters. Got this screen for the 5th time back to back.” Sharing a post on X, the National Cyber Security Coordinator said, “Our current information is this outage relates to a technical issue with a third-party software platform employed by affected companies.”

Blue Screen errors: All You Need to Know
As per Microsoft’s support page, Blue Screen errors (also sometimes called black screen errors or STOP code errors) can occur if a serious problem causes Windows to shut down or restart unexpectedly. You might see a message that says, “Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer” or a similar message.
These errors can be caused by both hardware and software issues. If a user has added new hardware to the PC before the Blue Screen error, shut down the PC, remove the hardware, and try restarting. If the user is having trouble restarting, then he/she can start the PC in safe mode.
Blue Screen errors: How to Resolve?
According to the Microsoft’s support page, if none of those steps help to resolve your Blue Screen error, then users must try the Blue Screen Troubleshooter in the Get Help app:
-In Windows, open Get Help.
-In the Get Help app, type Troubleshoot BSOD error.
-Follow the guided walkthrough in the Get Help app.
