Wonder Woman on 75th birthday gets a stamp of her own. This is amazing!

The United States Postal Service celebrating her 75th birthday of Wonder Woman decide to issue a special line of stamps featuring the superhero. The superhero who has already got strength of superhuman, indestructible bracelets made from Zeus’s sheild and magical lasso is getting postage stamps featuring her.

The USPS commemorates the iconic heroine with a set of stamps, as a part of non-denominational Forever series. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who is starring along side Vin Diesel in Hollywood franchise ‘xXx’ next installment seems to be excited as well about Wonder Woman in Forever Stamps. After all who in this universe doesn’t love Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman alongside Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Flash formed Justice League. Based on Greek mythological Amazons, she has been depicted as warrior princess. Wonder woman debuted first in October 1941 in a back-up story for All Star Comics 8 as an experiment by authors to test the potential of female superhero. Since then Wonder Woman got huge popularity and her own line of comics as Sensation Comics.

The stamps will debut at Comic Con which is being held in San Diego this weekend. The stamps released will be featuring four different images of Wonder Woman over Gold Age (1941–55), Silver Age (1956–72), Bronze Age (1973–86) and Modern incarnations (1987–present).

According to the Postal Service, this is not the first time Wonder Woman is getting honored with ‘stamps’. She received this honour back in 2006 and 1988, alongside other super heroes of the DC universe.
