A banana reportedly costs £5, a pint of beer £15, and 90 grams of lasagna cost one traveller £21. The Corriere Della Sera newspaper has described it as Europe’s most expensive airport for food and drink, noting a disparity between cost and quality.

Burger King And McDonald’s Are Also Expensive

Airport food prices are significantly higher than average. Croissants cost between £12.50 and £15, and Italian chicken salad is priced at £15. Even fast-food chains such as Burger King and McDonald’s are charging inflated prices.
