As per market speculations the base 1.4 E variant of Hyundai Verna will be priced at Rs 7.29 lakh while price for the higher EX variant is still awaited. This starting price still is Rs 70,000 less than that of the Hyundai Verna E variant with 1.6-litre petrol motor currently available in the market.

The Hyundai Verna petrol version generates 121bhp of power at 6,400rpm and 151Nm of peak torque at 4,850 rpm. The diesel on the other hand generates 126bhp at 4000rpm and an impressive torque of 260Nm from as low as 1,500rpm. Both engines can be had with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
