The 14th edition of Auto Expo 2018 is around the corner and here is a list of upcoming Hyundai cars that will be showcased at the cars’ exhibition. A pre-production version f the new compact SUV will make a debut at the upcoming motor show in Delhi, India. It will be based on the HND-14/Carlino concepts. Hyundai will launch this compact SUV only by 2019 at an approximate price of Rs. 7-10 in the mid of 2019.

Hyundai is expected to unveil an updated version of the Creta at the 14th Auto Expo. The new Creta will flaunt a cascading front grille with redesigned bumpers at the front as well as the rear. The engines will remain same while there is no information regarding the pricing.

Hyundai India is also expected to unveil prepping for the showcase of Elite i20 facelift. The i20 facelift will come with some styling tweaks. Engine options will remain the same. However, Hyundai just might launch a turbo Petrol mill at an approximate price range of Rs. 5.5-9 lakh at Auto expo 2018.

The Ioniq EV is powered by a 28kWh lithium-ion battery pack and has a range of 180km. In global markets, it competes with the Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Chevrolet Bolt and the Tesla Model 3.

Hyundai plans to get back Santro in market with its showcase at Auto Expo 2016. The new model will be a lot more modern, and of course, pricier, and could borrow engines from the Eon and even offer an AMT option. It will priced at approximately in a range of Rs. 4-6 lakh and will be launched for purchased in early 2018.

Hyundai Kona EV comes with a wide range of driver assistance features like lane assist, driver assistance, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert. This has helped the SUV achieve a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests. The Kona EV is expected to have a longer range than the Ioniq EV.

The latest generation Sonata is likely to be in attendance at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi. It will feature a hybrid powertain and will go on to rival the likes of Honda Accord Hybrid and Toyota Camry Hybrid. Expect prices to start around R 30 lakh. It will be available at a price of Rs. 29-32 lakh and will be in markets by April 2018.

Hyundai i30 Fastback could be showcased at Auto Expo 2018. It may be noted here that the manufacturer showcased the i30 hatchback at the last Expo. If and when launched in India, expect the Fastback to have a starting price of Rs 12 lakh. 12-15 lakh.

Hyundai MPV will sport similar design and styling as the Grand i10. The engine options on the car will likely be those doing duties on the Verna, i.e. 1.4-litre petrol and 1.6-litre petrol, and 1.4-litre turbo diesel and 1.6-litre turbo diesel. It will be available at an approximate price of Rs. 6.6-8.5 lakh and hit the markets by March 2018.

Hyundai is likely to showcase an electric sedan concept at the Auto Expo 2018. The company unveiled the Ioniq electric sedan this year and an electric version of its trending SUV, the Kona, at 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Instead, the company is developing a range of low-cost EVs for price-sensitive markets like that of our country. In India, the electric sedan will rival the likes of Mahindra e-Verito and Tata Tigor electric.
