The South Korean automaker showcased the electric version of its popular Ioniq sedan at the motor show, Auto Expo 2018 organised at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, the plug-in hybrid and hybrid avatars of the sedan will also be put on display at Hyundai’s Pavilion.

The electric avatar of Ioniq is expected to be priced in the range of INR 25 lakh to INR 30 lakh which will be pitted against Honda Accord Hybrid and Toyota Camry hybrid, when launched.

The 2018 Elite i20 is a facelifted version of its successful Hyundai i20. Mechanically, there is not much change. Aesthetically, the car features signature grill and cascade design, dual tone interior.

The car is rich in security features with ABS, reverse camera with sensor, standard six airbags, ISOFIX and speed sensing auto door lock. The car comes in two engine variant 1.2 L Kappa (83PS) and 1.4 L U2 CRDI 90ps (90ps/22.4 KGM). The car will come in six colours with an addition of red and orange. 2018 Elite i20 will be sold at a starting price of Rs 5.34 lakh.

The Ironman Edition features additional body work that makes it wider than the stock Kona, and a matte finish paint job. It also gets red highlights to mimic the Ironman suit. While the Ironman Edition of the Kona will be based on the regular, internal combustion engine variants, Hyundai is expected to launch the all-electric variant in India next year.

The Kona Electric is expected to have a range of 384 kilometers, making it practical for everyday use. The company will be showcasing the regular version; however, the SUV will be introduced in the electric avatar which is expected to be launched by 2019.
