Citroen has officially launched the highly anticipated Basalt Coupe SUV at an introductory price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This special pricing is available for all bookings made with deliveries scheduled until 31st October 2024.

The Basalt gets a split headlamp set up with a set of projectors and V-shaped LED DRLs. It has the signature Citroen logo in centre and a chunky front bumper with a large air dam flanked by a set of fog lamps. The Basalt has a coupe-like roofline, large wraparound taillights, a dual-tone rear bumper with a silver skid plate, a black roof and a shark-fin antenna.

The SUV Coupe is available with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 81 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol that puts out 108 BHP and 190 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
