Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have finally launched its adventure tourer Africa Twin Africa twin in India. It will be available at Honda Wing World dealerships across 22 Indian cities. Bookings are open for first 50 customers and a few lucky customers will get a chance to attend the outdoor "True Adventure" Africa Twin India launch event.

Honda Africa Twin is powered by 998cc, parallel twin engine mated to a six-speed transmission system that is enabled with DCT (Dual Clutch) unit. The engine produces maximum power output of 93 bhp along with a peak torque of 98 Nm.

Only one variant of Honda Africa Twin will be sold in India which is the top-of-the-line DCT (automatic transmission) variant. The motorcycle will be available in New Victory Red colour.
