Launched in 2014, the new generation Hyundai Elite i20 has been the country's best selling premium hatchback. The latest iteration of the i20 is equipped with several segment leading features, premium interiors and stylish exterior styling. It is based on Hyundai's new Fluidic v2.0 design theme and features a forward leaning stance. The flared wheel arches further contributes to its more modern and sportier looks. Upfront is a wide but compact air intake with mesh design, chrome surround for grille, sweptback headlamps and aggressive creases on bonnet. The side profile features strong shoulder line, silver door handles and mildly flared wheel arches. Its blacked out B-Pillar and C-Pillar further adds to its stying. At the back, the hatch gets long wraparound taillamps and enlarged Hyundai badge in the centre. The bumper features reverse lights and reflectors on either side.
Inside the cabin, the i20 is feature rich and the cabin looks modern and appealing. It comes with a redesigned dashboard in beige-black combination, steering adaptive parking assist, lane change indicator, in-built service reminder and rear air-conditioning vents. The premium hatchback is available with two engine options- 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel. While the former is good for 83bhp and 113Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 89bhp and 219Nm.
