After havign showcased the Hybrid version of Ioniq, Hyundai launched the car but not in India. Here are concrete features of the eco-friendly car. Hyundai said its new Ioniq EV has a range of 200 kilometers on a single charge, compared with 191 kilometers in a previous model.

The latest version of Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is expected to be priced at a price of approximately Rs. 14 to 20 lakhs.

The sedan gets slim headlights (projectors), Hyundai’s signature cascading effect grille and the LED DRLs housed vertically. The sloping roofline is the design highlight of the car and at the rear, there are distinctively-styled tail-lights and a huge bumper.

The cabin is typical Hyundai and is as expected loaded with features. There is a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and leather upholstery.

A driver attention warning is designed to help monitor driving patterns in order to detect reckless or fatigued driving and prevent potential accidents. If the system detects inattentive driving patterns, an audible sound and message on the display panel will bring this to the driver's attention.

To be offered with an option of three electric powertrains, Hyundai Ioniq is the first model in the world to come up with such an option. Hyundai is working on three versions of the model-Ioniq Hybrid, Ioniq Electric and Ioniq Plug-in.
