Mahindra finally unveils XUV Aero Coupe-SUV which was teased quite ahead of the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. The Aero- Coupe SUV is designed by Mahindra’s Indian designer in Mumbai who took inputs from the Italian design firm Pininfarnia. The flagship model XUV 500 is of prototype with front profile reminiscent which gets clean wide grille and the headlights featuring LEDs and L shaped DRLs. Mahindra XUV Aero has wider air intake capacity and features LED lights also. Looking further to it, the flanks of the vehicle is highlighted by arches, a sharp line and also a rising character line. The vehicle has sloping roofline which further emphasizes the stubby gear and angular C-pillar. XUV also includes features for easy ingress and egress with the suicide doors.
The inside part of the cabin has new and refreshed infotainment and connectivity equipment whereas the bucket seats along with beige upholstery increases the notch to a few level high.The vehicle has come with dimensions of 4600mm lenght, 1680mm height and 1890mm width, and features a wheelbase of 2700mm. The underpinning of the XUV is shared along with 2.2- litre diesel engine with 140bhp of power. The looks of the vehicle is made appealing with introduction of four-door coupe, and it is the smallest and worthy coupe-SUV. The vehicle faces competition against high- end luxury SUV’s like Mercedes Benz GLE class and BMW X6. The level of the XUV has taken a high growth and the competitions have increased for Mahindra and other automobile companies.
