Tata Motors launched its special edition of Zest sedan, Premior that gets a glossy black finish for the roof, a piano black finish for the wing mirrors and the hood strip and bootlid garnish, silver wheel covers, a special edition badge, and an optional piano-black rear spoiler. The Zest Premio will be available in two colours: Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver.
The interiors have a tan finished mid pad on the dashboard. The interiors of the car have also been revised a bit as it gets new premium seat fabric with contrast stitching and Premio branding that is colour co-ordinated with the tan mid pad.
Tata Motors compact sedan was launched with 1.3 litre diesel engine and 13 additional features, priced at Rs 7.53 lakh ((ex-showroom Delhi).
The car is based on the Zest Diesel variant, with the 1.3 litter Fiat Multijet turbocharged engine with 75 PS of peak power and 190 Nm of peak torque. The Zest Premio is not available with the more powerful diesel or the turbo petrol engines.
A 5 speed AMT is available as an option on this engine, which features a 5 speed manual as standard. The turbocharged petrol engine is the 1.2 litre Revotron unit that is tuned to produce 89 Bhp of peak power and 140 Nm of peak torque.
