Gold received a good response from the audience across the country and today the team had a special event.
The movie which is set in the Pre-Independence era of 1940’s and it traces the journey of a man dreaming to win India’s first Gold award in Hockey.
The trailer showcased the dream of Tapan Das to win Gold for free India for the first time.
Gold not only marks the first ever association between Akshay Kumar and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar but also is the debut of TV actress Mouni Roy.
The movie releases this Independence Day marking 70 years of Free India’s first Gold medal at the 1948 Olympics.
