Akshay Kumar is one of those actors who have built a nice, sea-facing bungalow in Mumbai from where their families enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The actor lives in a lavish bungalow on the Juhu beach which is full of greenery, artefacts, paintings and just love all time.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna live in the bungalow with their kids Nitara and Aarav. Most people in the industry know that Akshay is not the one who stays up till late at parties or even attends any for that matter. For him, his house is the best and the cosiest place to be.

Akshay's house has been designed by Twinkle's vision. On the first floor, there's a big closet where the superstar gets ready for his events and formal appearances. On the second floor is Twinkle's study where she writes peacefully and channelises her inner Mrs Funny Bones.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's house boasts a beautiful, sprawling garden. They are often seen spending time there where they simply lie down on a mat/ sheet while their kids just frolic around.

Akshay Kumar's house is also full of lovely planters and colourful candles, courtesy: his wife who runs a candle-making business and also has a big green thumb. The paintings in the house, from Lord Krishna to Lord Ganesha and some for simple artistic pleasure - are gorgeous.

The house gets enough sunlight and fresh air from the sea. Twinkle loves to see sunsets on the parapet overlooking the vast sea. While speaking to Vogue about the same experience, she had once said, 'Living by the sea is wonderful. It’s nice to just sit on the parapet and watch the sunset.'

Interestingly, not many know this but Akshay was once shooed away from the place where he currently lives. It is the same place he had once come to before he was a big hero in Bollywood. He had revealed in an interview: 'It was not a plan but my current house, where I am sitting right now, is built on the same location. A building was constructed on the site of the dilapidated bungalow and I live in that building.'
