Not as much in the limelight as Mukesh and Anil, Dipty and Nina have an equally powerful and fascinating history.
Dipti Salgaoncar is the president of Vidya Mandir Education Society, president of VHP Goa and a trustee of the Swami Vivekanand Youth Movement. She also has been an advisory member of the Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts and is involved in various other artistic and social work.
Dipti is married to industrialist Dattaraj Salgaoncar, who is also a friend of the Ambanis. Together, they have supported several causes for education and art in Goa.
Nina Kothari took over her late husband’s company, Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited, after his demise in 2015. She has since been the brand ambassador and has diversified into newer business areas and ventures.
As per media reports, Dipty Salgaoncar’s net worth is at ₹7710 crore while Nina Kothari’s net worth is estimated to be ₹52 crore, bringing them to an astonishing combined net worth of ₹7762 crore.
Nina is also the founder of a cafe chain in India and has her finger in a lot of other pies.
Mukesh and Anil might hog all the limelight, but their sisters have led their own lives and carved a niche for themselves in the field of art and culture, while still maintaining their powerful and influential presence, but behind the scenes.
