Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Ali Fazal, Ravi Kishan and other Mirzapur stars get a fun retro makeover as AI reimagines the cast in iconic 80s style.

The crime saga gets a big-screen makeover

Mirzapur: The Movie has brought its familiar characters back into the spotlight and this time they have received a completely different makeover. The crime drama has been enjoying a strong response at the box office, while its cast continues to remain a talking point among fans. From Kaleen Bhaiya and Munna Bhaiya to Guddu Pandit and Babban Yadav, the characters have their own distinct style. Now, an AI trend has imagined what these popular faces might have looked like during the 1980s. The retro pictures have added a fun twist to the world of Mirzapur and fans have already started picking their favourites.

Kaleen Bhaiya – The retro don with serious style

Pankaj Tripathi's Kaleen Bhaiya gets a striking 80s makeover in the AI pictures. He is imagined wearing a brown trouser suit paired with a gold chain, giving the character an old-school gangster look. Even in the retro setting, Kaleen Bhaiya's calm but powerful personality remains easy to recognise.

Munna Bhaiya – The OG swag gets a retro twist

Divyenndu's Munna Bhaiya looks ready to rule the 80s with his trademark confidence. The AI avatar features him in sunglasses with a shirt and jacket that perfectly match the era. His familiar attitude remains intact, making the retro version feel like Munna Bhaiya simply travelled back a few decades.

Guddu Pandit – Denim, attitude and full bhaukaal

Ali Fazal's Guddu Pandit gets one of the most action-ready retro looks in the collection. He is seen wearing a denim jacket while striking a dramatic pose. The avatar keeps Guddu's tough personality intact while adding the kind of rugged fashion that was closely associated with action heroes of the 80s.

Bablu Pandit – The OG chocolate boy

Jitendra Kumar's Bablu Pandit receives a colourful 80s makeover with a bright shirt and denim jacket. The look gives him the appearance of the classic chocolate-boy hero from that era. It is a softer and more playful avatar compared with some of the gangster-inspired looks given to the other Mirzapur characters.

Beena Tripathi – Retro glamour with a bold touch

Rasika Dugal's Beena Tripathi is imagined in a vibrant pink retro outfit with big, voluminous curls. The AI styling gives her a distinctly 80s appearance while retaining the character's confident personality. Her look stands apart from the male characters and adds a glamorous touch to the collection of retro avatars.

Sweety Gupta – A colourful 80s transformation

Shriya Pilgaonkar's Sweety Gupta gets a colourful AI makeover inspired by the fashion of the 1980s. The pink outfit and voluminous hairstyle give the character a classic retro appearance. The look offers a nostalgic take on one of the franchise's memorable female characters and brings a different energy to the gallery.

Golu Gupta – Powerful character, classic retro style

Shweta Tripathi's Golu Gupta also receives the 80s treatment through the AI-generated pictures. Her avatar features the colourful styling and large curls associated with the era. While the fashion gets a retro makeover, the character's strong personality still comes through, making this one of the more distinctive female looks in the collection.

Babban Yadav – Ravi Kishan brings his own bhaukaal

Ravi Kishan's Babban Yadav gets a dedicated 80s-inspired avatar in the final slide of the collection. His retro styling adds another layer to the actor's already striking screen personality. Fans quickly noticed his picture and praised the fact that Ravi Kishan's unmistakable presence appears difficult to change, even through an AI makeover.
