Your hair ultimately turns out to be frizzy, thanks to the changing weather of winters. To tackle this, use a vented hair brush that has a combination of plastic and boar bristles while combing your hair. Wash your hair only with lukewarm water, not hot water, as the latter will strip away the natural oils that protect and nourish your hair.

It might be tempting in the colder months to turn the water temperature up, but try to avoid washing your hair in very hot water - use warm or cool water to avoid damage. Hot water can dry out your hair and damage the delicate skin on your scalp, which may be extra sensitive during the winter.

During the winter season your scalp will be drier and that can lead to dandruff and scalp irritation, which in the worst-case scenario can lead to hair fall. No matter how busy you are, really don’t forget the oil your hair needs. Use olive or coconut oil, massage it into your scalp and leave it in for 20 minutes, and finally rinse it out with shampoo and conditioner.
