Located in West Bengal, this station was famously closed for 42 years after a railway worker allegedly died of fright after seeing a ghost. Locals and staff reported a lady in a white saree dancing on the tracks, leading to a complete desertion of the site from 1967 until it was finally reopened in 2009.
