Despite the rising tensions in West Asia, India has managed to receive multiple vessel carrying LPG barrels from the affected Strait of Hormuz. The area is integral globally as a large portion of fuel passes through it. India has emerged as one of the top countries using this route. Here, we take you through details of all the vessels that have crossed Strait of Hormuz.

LPG carriers crossed Strait of Hormuz

The two major LPG carriers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz safely, which includes BW TYR and BW ELM. They carried almost 94,000 tonnes of LPG.

Vessels that reached India from march 26-28

Two vessels named Pine Gas and Jag Vasant reached India between March 26 and 28. These ships carried more than 92,000 tonnes of LPG.

Ships that arrived before April

Initially, MT Shivalik and MT Nanda Devi arrived India. They reached the Mundra and Kandla ports, carrying large LPG vessels.

Oil and fuel tankers

Jag Laadki brought crude oil from UAE to India. On the other hand, Jag Prakash brought gasoline across the international routes.

Green Sanvi's safe arrival

The Green Sanvi also reached India safely, which carried 46,650 tonnes of LPG.

What's happening?

Due to the West Asian tensions, the region of Strait of Hormuz has been affected, impacting global oil supply chains and causing LPG crisis in many countries.
