In pics: Key candidates who lost in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections will conclude today, October 8, 2024, with the completion of vote counting by 6 pm. However, results for several constituencies have already been announced. Some key candidates of the Union Territory, including Ravinder Raina, Iltija Mufti, and Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, have lost their constituency seats to the opposition candidates.
Ravinder Raina of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lost the Nowshera constituency seat to Surender Kumar Choudhary of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) who secured victory with 7,819 margin votes.
