Two terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, search operation underway

Two millitants were gunned down today in an overnight encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district. According to reports the terrorists most likely belong to the Pakistan based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

Trains cancelled and delayed in Delhi due to low visibility

Delhi NCR is engulfed with a layer of fog this morning which resulted in the cancellation of 3 trains and delay of 18 trains. As per IMD the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degree Celsius, the maximum temperature stood at 24 degree Celsius and predicted that the situation is likely to continue with cold wave hitting entire Northern India.

Sensex builds on gains, climbs 143 pts as BJP bags Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh

In the sectoral space, all indices were up, driven by auto and consumer durables, with gains of up to 1.22 per cent.The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced 143.22 points, or 0.42 per cent, to 33,744.90. The gauge had rallied 548.64 points in the previous three sessions. The 50-share NSE Nifty also went up 39.45 points, or 0.37 per cent, to 10.428.20.
