Shashi Kapoor dies at the age of 79

Veteran Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor died at the age of 79 in Mumbai According to reports, he was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospita on Sunday night where doctors said he had chest infection. He was the son of Prithviraj Kapoor. The legendary actor Shashi Kapoor began as a child artist with films like Aag, Sangam and Awaara, did his first solo lead in 1961 film Dharmaputra. His famous dialogue “Mere Paas Maa Hai” from the movie Deewaar is one of the most remembered dialogues till now.

Sri Lankan fast bowler Suranga Lakmal vomited on the field during the day four of the third and final Test against India in Delhi. Sri Lankan players were once again seen fielding while wearing anti-pollution masks. As per BCCI’s rotation policy Delhi may not host international cricket at least till 2020, reports PTI reported.

Search intensified to find 92 missing fishermen in Kerala due to Cyclone Ockhi

The Kerala government today said intensified search and rescue operations are on to trace the 92 fishermen missing in high seas after Cyclone Ockhi hit the state’s coast on November 29. ‘Operation Synergy,’ a joint rescue mission by the Navy, the Air Force, Coast Guard and state fisheries department had so far rescued 252 fishermen stranded in the seas in the aftermath of the cyclone.
