BJP on Thursday hit back at Rahul Gandhi over his remark on terror group Islamic State and incidents of mob lynching during his speech in Germany’s Hamburg on Wednesday, saying that the Congress president never leaves an opportunity to tarnish India’s image during his foreign visits.The BJP alleged that the Congress president justified terrorism and “lied through his teeth” to attack the Modi government. Addressing a gathering at the Bucerius Summer School in Hamburg in Germany on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi cited the example of ISIS to say that exclusion of a large number of people from the development process could lead to the creation of insurgent groups anywhere in the world. He also linked the incidents of lynching in India to joblessness and the lack of opportunities for the poor who, he said, were not being given equal opportunities.

Fifteen-year-old shooter Shardul Vihan on Thursday produced a sensational performance as he bagged a silver medal in the Double Trap Men’s Event at the ongoing edition of the Asian Games in Indonesia. Shardul scored 73 out of 80 shots in the finals of the event. The gold was won by Korea’s Hyun Wooshin who had a final score of 74 while Qatar’s Hamad Ali Al Marri bagged the bronze medal with a score of 53.The 15-year-old had qualified for the finals of the event at the top spot. Shardul became the third Indian to medal in the double trap event at the Asian Games. Ronjan Sodhi won gold in 2010 while Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore won silver in 2010.

At least one person died while five others were injured after a blast occurred at Trinamool Congress’ party office in Makarampur of West Midnapore district on Thursday.The deceased has been identified as a TMC member, Sudipta Ghosh. Of the total five injured, one person is extremely critical.The explosion took place at around 10 am. The injured were admitted to a hospital and the police have cordoned off the area.When members of the TMC reached the party office to attend a meeting, they opened the door and the bomb went off, according to Zee News sources.

Preeti is forced into human trafficking, which networks around India, Hong Kong and Los Angeles. Her sister, Sonia, risks her life and sets on a voyage to look for her. She meets the other women from the business during her journey and men for whom she’s nothing more than a commodity.
