Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Kickstart UP Poll Campaign From Prayagraj, Visit PM Narendra Modi’s Constituency Varanasi
The AICC general secretary for Uttar Pradesh (east) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to kickstart her campaign for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in the state from Prayagraj on Thursday, March 14. She is likely to visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi as well. As per reports, Priyanka is likely to take sail from Prayagraj to Varanasi. She is scheduled to visit the historic Anand Bhawan in Prayagraj. Meanwhile in Varanasi, she will be visiting temples including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. She will also arrive at Mirzapur and pay obeisance at the Maa Vindhyachal Devi Temple. After covering all the three regions, Priyanka will camp in Lucknow for a few days. During the period, she will take stock of poll preparedness and contribute in finalising the candidates for remaining seats in the crucial state. Till now, the Congress has released names of 11 candidates for the state. The list which was released by the party on March 7 included the names of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi from Rae Bareli and Amethi, respectively.
