They Thrashed us With Sticks, Broke Windows And Doors, Says Gurgaon Mob Attack Victim
An arrest has been made in Gurgaon’s mob attack case, a day after some 20-25 men barged into a two-storey house of a Muslim family in Dhamaspur village, armed with rods, sticks and swords to ‘teach them a lesson’. The mob of unruly men attacked a Muslim family on the eve of Holi, over an alleged minor tiff that ensued after the accused earlier that day threatened some boys against playing cricket near their lane, accompanied by a ‘go back to Pakistan’ jibe. The boys got into an altercation with the men and then ran back home. In some time, a mob turned up at their doorstep, demanding the men come out or they’ll ‘kill everyone’.
