Modi in Varanasi: Schemes Worth Rs 21,000 Crore to Clean Ganga Have Been Approved, Says PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated various development projects, cumulatively worth more than Rs 500 crore, at the Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. Among the projects inaugurated by Modi were Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for Puraani Kashi and an Atal Incubation Centre at the BHU. The projects for which the foundation stone was laid include the Regional Ophthalmology Centre at the BHU. The event is being held at the amphitheatre of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The prime minister will shortly address a gathering from the BHU’s amphitheatre. According to sources, PM Modi is expected to interact with around 50,000 BJP workers.
