Nitish Kumar has been the Chief Minister of Bihar multiple time. The results will be out by evening, and most of the exit polls have predicted a landslide victory for the led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal and Bharatiya Janta Party.
One of the most closely watched battles in Bihar is in Mahua, where Tej Pratap Yadav is aiming to regain the seat he won in 2015. This time, he is contesting under his own party, the Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD), after breaking away from the RJD. He is up against the sitting RJD MLA Mukesh Kumar Raushan, who won the seat in 2020.
