London-based QS Quacquarelli Symonds, known for the university rankings, has recently published the 16th annual edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The rankings benchmark more than 21,000 academic programmes across 1,900 universities in more than 100 countries, spanning 55 disciplines and five broad faculty areas.
Leading the individual charge is the Indian Institute of Management(IIM), Ahmedabad ranked 21st globally in QS World University rankings by subject: Business & Management Studies.
According to the rankings, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) secured the 29nd position in the list of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026: Business & Management Studies. It's overall score is 78.7.
According to the rankings, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) - Calcutta secured the 47th position in the list of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026: Business & Management Studies. It's overall score is 75.7.
According to the rankings, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) secured the 71st position in the list of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026: Business & Management Studies. It's overall score is 72.6.
According to the rankings, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow secured the 75th position in the list of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026: Business & Management Studies. It's overall score is 72.2.
According to the rankings, India records 27 top 50 positions across subjects and broad faculty areas — more than double the 12 recorded in 2024 — earned by 12 institutions.
