In an internal mail, Infosys said that the company is going to adopt a 'three-phase' work from office plan.
"Our approach will allow flexibility to employees and is not a “one size-fits-all approach", Krishnamurthy Shankar, Executive Vice President and Group Head of HRD at Infosys said.
“It will be exciting to see how our teams will explore their own return to office plans by creatively and pragmatically blending project and business imperatives along with collective working convenience,” Times of India quoted Shankar as saying.
-In the first phase, employees can come to the office twice a week. -In the second phase, employees will have the liberty to either take a transfer or relocate to a branch office of their choice. -The final phase will entail Infosys using the feedback from both the phases to determine its hybrid-work policy.
Earlier last month, Infosys had asserted it witnessed approximately 45,000 employees returning to the office. Giving details, CEO Salil Parekh said the number is gradually increasing.
The company’s HR head also said, “It will be exciting to see how our teams will explore their own return to office plans by creatively and pragmatically blending project and business imperatives along with collective working convenience.”
