The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), also known as the Chinese Navy, is the largest navy in the world in terms of fleet size. It is also ahead of the US Navy in terms of numbers. It is employing 384,000 naval personnel.

The Sri Lanka Navy has about 40,000 personnel. It consists of more than 270 small and large ships.
The Navy of Finland is the ninth largest navy in the world. It is quite strong in terms of ships. The Finnish Navy consists of 264 ships and employs approximately 2,300 personnel.
The Colombian Navy is the tenth largest navy in the world. It consists of 35,000 naval personnel.
