Team India is facing a big problem before the Asia Cup 2025. The current sponsor Dream11 has ended the contract and now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will have to find a new sponsor.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has confirmed that Dream11 and the board have mutually ended the sponsorship deal. After the implementation of the new online money games law, it was not possible for this company to continue.

Dream11 had signed a title sponsorship contract for three years in 2023, which was to run till 2026. But the change in the law deeply hurt the company's business. In such a situation, it had to leave this agreement midway.

Meanwhile, Japan's automobile giant Toyota has shown interest in sponsoring Team India. In India, this company works in partnership with the Kirloskar Group and recently registered a turnover of more than Rs 56,500 crore.

Toyota's association with cricket is not new. Recently it sponsored the England cricket team and before that, it was also associated with the Australian team. This is the reason why the possibility of its name being associated with India looks strong.

According to reports, apart from Toyota, a fintech company is also showing interest. But who will be chosen as the sponsor will have to be decided soon. BCCI would like the Indian team not to play in a big tournament like the Asia Cup without a title sponsor.
