Bumrah grabbed two five-wicket hual
The 31-year-old bowled a total 119.4 overs across three games and picked 14 wickets. Bumrah grabbed two five-wicket hauls one in Headingley and the other one in Lord's.

BCCI official statement
"Jasprit Bumrah has been released from India's squad for the fifth Test of the series against England," BCCI announced in a release on Friday.

Bumrah conceded more than 100 runs in a single innings for the first time in history at Manchester. He now has 219 wickets from 48 Tests.

Agarkar confirmed Bumrah only for three Tests
Before the departure, the chairman of selection committee Ajit Agarkar confirmed Bumrah will be available for only three Tests keeping his workload management in mind.
Bumrah may skip Asia Cup for WI Tests
India's next international assignment is the Asia Cup T20, however, it would be a surprising if Bumrah decides to play considering the following Test series against the West Indies starts less than one week after the tournament finishes in the UAE.
Tight schedule awaits India after Asia Cup
The Asia Cup is set to conclude on September 29, following which India is scheduled to play against the West Indies beginning shortly after. The first Test starts on October 2 in Ahmedabad, followed by the second in New Delhi from October 10 to 14. India will then host South Africa for a two-Test series in November.
BCCI source told PTI
"It will be a tricky call but Bumrah loves Test cricket and there are World Test Championship points at stake. As far as T20 is concerned, he can play the series against New Zealand in January, which will be a dress rehearsal for the T20 World Cup," a BCCI source familiar with the Indian selection process told PTI on the condition of anonymity
BCCI source further said
"If Bumrah plays Asia Cup and suppose India plays the final, no way can he play against West Indies at Ahmedabad. Obviously the question arises, do you need Bumrah against West Indies or he plays Asia Cup after a month's break and plays the two Tests against South Africa. That call, Ajit Agarkar and Gautam Gambhir will have to take," the source added.
