India will host the Women's ODI World Cup from 29 September to 26 October in which eight teams will participate

India will host the Women's ODI World Cup from 29 September to 26 October in which eight teams will participate. Pakistan has qualified for this tournament. Pakistan did not get a direct entry, but it made it to the World Cup by winning all its matches in the qualifier tournament.

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi's statement

"Just like India did not play in Pakistan during the Champions Trophy and played all its matches at neutral venues, we will do the same. When there is an agreement, it should be respected. India is the host of the tournament, so it will have to find a neutral venue," Naqvi was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

During the Champions Trophy, Pakistan was not agreeing to BCCI's demand

During the Champions Trophy, Pakistan was not agreeing to BCCI's demand. However, later it agreed to the hybrid model. It was then decided that if Pakistan is the host, then India will play its matches at a neutral venue and if India is the host, then Pakistan will also do the same. In view of this, the same rule will be applicable for the T20 World Cup 2026 to be hosted by India-Sri Lanka next year. However, since Sri Lanka is the host in this, there is a high possibility that Pakistan will play all its matches in Sri Lanka.
