Sahibzada Farhan had celebrated with a 'gun gesture' in Super 4 match vs India after scoring a fifty. "That celebration was just a spur of the moment. I rarely celebrate when I get to fifty. But when I got there I suddenly got the idea of celebrating, and so I did without knowing or caring how people would interpret it. We should play aggressive cricket against any team, not just India, the way we played today," Farhan said about the celebration.
Haris Rauf celebrated with a 'falling plane' gesture in the Super 4 match vs India. Rauf was seen doing the same actions on the boundary as well, in front of Indian fans.
Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan may have to appear before ICC hearing. An ICC hearing is expected to take place in case Sahibzada and Rauf deny these allegations in writing. They might have to appear before the ICC Elite Panel Referee Richie Richardson for a hearing.
BCCI have sent complaint to ICC match referee Andy Pycroft. Pakistan Cricket Board had complained to ICC about Pycroft claiming he allowed India's 'No handshake' move and went against 'Spirit of the game'.
Pakistan have also complained against India captain Suryakumar Yadav to ICC for making political statement. Pakistan Cricket Board also seems to have lodged an official complaint with the international parent body against Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav for expressing his solidarity with victims of Pahalgam terror attack and dedicating his team's victory to the Indian Armed Forces involved in Operation Sindoor. His comments came after the September 14 game.
Team India have already reached the Asia Cup 2025 final with their 41-run win over Bangladesh in their Super 4 match on Wednesday.
