Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was forced to walk off the field during SRH's run chase as he was clearly in discomfort.
The 15-year-old, who has been one of the standout performers of IPL 2026, suffered an injury while fielding against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Jaipur.
On the final ball of the third over, Ishan Kishan lofted a full delivery from Jofra Archer over the covers. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi chased it but appeared to strain his hamstring and walked off in visible discomfort.
The physio quickly came onto the field to check on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who was clearly in pain. Although he managed to stand up, the RR opener kept holding his hamstring and eventually had to walk off the field.
Rajasthan Royals, who currently rank fourth on the points table, will face table-toppers Punjab Kings in their next IPL 2026 match at the PCA New Cricket Stadium on April 28.
