The second night of SummerSlam 2025 ended with a shocking moment that left John Cena fans stunned. While many believed this would be his final appearance in a WWE ring, the way things unfolded suggests otherwise.
WWE’s rising star Cody Rhodes first reclaimed the WWE Championship by defeating John Cena in a brutal street fight.
Just moments later, 16-time world champion Brock Lesnar made a spine-chilling entrance, shaking up the arena. Before John Cena could say goodbye, Brock Lesnar's title tune 'The Beast' started playing along with thunderous applause and Brock Lesnar came out of the entry gate with a bang.
Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to WWE for the first time since 2023, leaving fans stunned at Allegiant Stadium. As Cody Rhodes exited the ring, John Cena was left alone to face The Beast and the look on his face said it all.
Lesnar, one of the most dangerous wrestlers in the world, entered the ring and threatened Cena by looking straight in the eye, without saying anything, he threw him in the air. He knocked John Cena out in the ring with a tremendous F-5 move.
The crowd was completely shocked as John Cena lay unconscious in the middle of the ring. No one saw it coming, there was no storyline buildup, no teaser, and not even a promo. It was a surprise attack that stunned the WWE fans
John Cena was exhausted after his intense match against Cody Rhodes, who had given him a brutal beatdown. The two shared an emotional moment post-match, with Cena handing over the title to Rhodes and whispering something in his ear that brought tears to Rhodes’ eyes.
