Former South African cricketer JP Duminy and his spouse Sue Duminy have formally declared their divorce, putting an end to weeks of speculation regarding their relationship.
The pair, married for 12 years, announced their separation via social media statements on February 17, 2025.
Speculation regarding their separation had been ongoing since late 2024, driven by their absence of public appearances together and minimal activity on social media.
Fans observed that the two had removed each other from their Instagram follow lists and ceased posting photos together, which has sparked increasing speculation regarding issues in their marriage.
Taking to Instagram, JP wrote, 'After much consideration, Sue and I have decided to part ways. We were fortunate to have shared many memorable moments together during our marriage and were blessed with two daughters. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition. While the couple did not reveal the details that led to their separation, both have highlighted that they continue to remain good friends and that their separation is amicable. ‘Thank you for understanding and support during this time. Much love, JP and Sue,’ he concluded.
JP Duminy and Sue got married in 2011 and share two daughters. Their relationship was well-regarded by many, so the news of their separation surprised fans.
