A big step has been seen in the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. There has been a ceasefire in the border areas between the two countries. This was confirmed after the post of US President Donald Trump. In such a situation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can soon make an official announcement regarding the resumption of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Keep in mind that recently due to the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, IPL was stopped for a week on Friday. However, it was not decided when the tournament would start again. And now after the latest situation, it is believed that BCCI can soon issue some guidelines regarding this.

One of the biggest hurdles the BCCI faces in attempting a May restart is bringing back international players. Following the announcement of the suspension, franchises began to disperse, and players booked the earliest flights to head back to their home countries. Most foreign players are anticipated to have exited India by the end of Saturday.
