In these collection of pictures, we find out all about the good news Sunrisers Hyderabad team in middle of IPL 2026 as star player from team can become next Indian T20I captain.
Kavya Maran's Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently in 3rd place in IPL 2026 Points Table with 12 points in 9 matches. SRH have won 5 matches in a row.
Ishan Kishan led Sunrisers Hyderabad to 4 wins this season in IPL 2026 in the absence of injured Pat Cummins.
Ishan Kishan is being considered by BCCI as next India T20I captain for the next T20 WorldCup 2028, according to a report in Cricblogger website. "Kishan appears to be leading the race, owing to his performances in domestic cricket as well as his recent international form," the report stated.
Ishan Kishan could lead India in T20I series against Ireland this year if regular Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is rested after the IPL 2026 season. Kishan was retained for Rs 11.25 crore by Kavya Maran's SRH ahead of IPL 2026 season.
Suryakumar Yadav is under pressure after a poor IPL 2026 season with Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar has only scored 162 in 8 matches after leading India to T20 World Cup 2026 title.
Shreyas Iyer hasn't been part of the T20I squad recently unlike Ishan Kishan, who was part of T20 World Cup 2026-winning squad. Iyer's Punjab Kings are currently on top of IPL 2026 Points Table.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi can also make Team India debut in T20I series vs Ireland. Sooryavanshi has become eligible to play for India after turning 15 years of age.
