After the Tests, the focus shifts to the shortest format. T20Is. England have announced a 16-man T20I squad boasting some of the brightest and reputed talent. This is T20 WC year which will be played in India. So this is a golden opportunity for the English players to stake their claim and get acclimatised to the conditions they will encounter later this year.
Morgan, the England captain, has played 97 T20Is and scored 2278 runs including 14 half-centuries.
The allrounder has scored 611 runs in 29 T20Is and taken 16 wickets as well.
After a horror show in Test series vs India, Bairstow will be eager to regain his confidence when he takes guard in the T20Is. He has so far scored 932 runs in 46 T20Is including six fifties.
The right-arm pacer has played 27 T20Is and taken 26 wickets in them.
The allrounder has played just eight T20Is and taken 9 wickets in them.
The 29-year-old has scored 391 runs in 30 T20Is including two fifties.
The tall paceman has played six T20Is so far and taken five wickets in them.
The allrounder will be one of the key performers for England. He has so far scored 392 runs in 34 T20Is and taken 17 wickets as well.
The right-arm pacer didn't get a game in the four-match Test series but will hope to add to his 11 T20Is in which he has 18 wickets at an average of 20.
The 27-year-old has played just two T20Is so far in which he has scored 16 runs.
He will be one of England's biggest hopes. Known for his big-hitting skills. Buttler has scored 1551 runs at a strike-rate of 140.36 in 74 T20Is. He has also taken 31 catches and effected five stumpings as well.
The right-arm quick has played 7 T20Is and taken seven wickets in them so far.
The job to provide England a blazing start will rest on the able shoulders of Roy who has scored 890 runs at a strike-rate of 144.01 in 38 T20Is.
The world's top-ranked T20I batsman has scored 855 runs at an excellent average of 53.43 including one century and 9 fifties. He scores at a strike-rate of 149.47.
The 32-year-old medium pacer has taken 66 wickets in 55 T20Is including two four-wicket hauls.
The spinner has 51 wickets in 52 T20Is at an average of 25.80.
