1. AB de Villiers - Most catches in a season: Royal Challengers Bengaluru star had grabbed 19 catches in IPL 2016 season. Chennai Super Kings star Ruturaj Gaikwad got closest with 17 catches in IPL 2023.
2. AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli put on biggest-ever partnership in IPL history: The RCB batters put on 229 runs vs Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016. The same pair is in 2nd place as well with unbeaten 215 runs against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2015.
3. Alzarri Joseph holds record for best bowling figures on debut: The Mumbai Indians pacer claimed 6/12 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2019 match. Pakistan's Sohail Tanvir is in 2nd place with 6/14 vs Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2008.
4. Amit Mishra holds record for most hat-tricks in IPL: Former Indian leg-spinner has claimed 3 hat-tricks for Delhi Capitals, Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Yuvraj Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal are in 2nd place with 2 hat-tricks.
5. Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata Knight Riders have won most successive matches in IPL: Under Gambhir's captaincy, KKR had won 10 matches in a row in the IPL 2014-15 season.
6. Chris Gayle holds record for highest individual score in IPL: The RCB opener had smashed 175 not out vs Pune Warriors India in IPL 2013 season.
7. Chris Gayle has also smashed the fastest century in IPL: The RCB opener smashed a 30-ball century vs Pune Warriors India. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has hit 2nd fastest century off 35 balls for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 season.
8. Virat Kohli holds record of scoring most runs in a single season of IPL: Former RCB captain had scored 973 runs in IPL 2016 season. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill is in 2nd place with 890 runs in IPL 2023.
