RCB roped in Australia's limited-overs captain Finch for Rs 4.4 crore to add to the firepower and add cushion to their illustrious batting unit containing the likes of Kohli and de Villiers.

At the IPL 2020 players' auction, RCB bought Australia's limited-overs skipper for Rs 4.4 crore to add to the firepower in their batting unit which boast of the likes of Kohli and AB de Villiers.

The third-biggest buy in the IPL 2020 auction was South African all-rounder Chris Morris hogged the limelight when Banglaore splurged Rs 10 crore to acquire his services. Released by Delhi Capitals, Morris hefty price tag raised quite a few eyebrows and also became a topic of debate after RCB management's reluctance to have the lanky Protea in their side.

Dale Steyn — Dale Steyn

South Africa's pace Dale Steyn will once again play for familiar franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Steyn, who returned to RCB after a 9-year-gap in IPL 2019 as a replacement player, played only 2 matches for the Kohli-led franchise before he was ruled out with an injury. The Bengaluru-based franchise were able to buy the South Africa pacer at his base price of Rs 2 crore after he went unsold in the initial round of the auction.

Kane Richardson — Kane Richardson

Another Australian cricketer who made windfall gain from the players' auction is fast bowler Richardson. After listing himself under the base price bracket of Rs 1.5 crore, Richardson was bought for Rs 4 crore by Bangalore.

Shahbaz Ahmed — Shahbaz Ahmed

Born in Mewat, Haryana - Shahbaz Ahmedmade his List A debut for Bengal in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy in September 2018. He was picked up by RCB for his base price of Rs 20 lakh. Ahmed can contribute both with bat and ball.

Joshua Phillipe — Joshua Phillipe

Rated highly for his power-hitting abilities, Australia's uncapped wicketkeeper-batsman Joshua Philippe is a steal for the price of Rs 20 lakh. After going unsold initially, the promising 22-year-old was picked up by RCB management at the auction in Kolkata.

Pavan Deshpande — Pavan Deshpande

A late bloomer - Pavan Deshpande will make his IPL debut for RCB in the 2020 edition of IPL. After producing note-worthy performances for Karnataka, Deshpande will don the red and gold jersey to help Kohli and Co. lift their maiden T20 title. He was bought for Rs 20 lakh.

Isuru Udana — Isuru Udana

Another all-rounder bought by RCB from the auction is - Isuru Udana. Known for his variations and change of pace deliveries Udana's selection will strengthen Bangalore's lowe middle-order and will provide them an additional bowling option. He was bought for his base price of Rs 50 lakh.
