Amit Hariram Passi was born on August 27, 1999, he made his debut for Baroda in a Group C match against Services in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, playing as a wicketkeeper-batsman.
Amit got the chance to debut for Baroda in place of Jitesh Sharma created havoc with his bat. The right-handed batsman smashed a half-century off just 24 balls, hitting several boundaries along the way.
Amit Passi smashed his century in just 44 balls with a six while batting on 98. Passi became only the third Indian to score a century on his T20 debut.
Amit Passi made a sensational T20 debut in the SMAT, scoring 114 runs off 55 balls the highest individual score ever by a T20 debutant. His knock included 10 fours and 9 sixes, helping Baroda post a total of 220 runs in their 20 overs.
Before this match, Amit had scored only 100 runs in six innings in the Baroda Premier League 2025, where he represented A4 Power Strikers.
Baroda posted a total of 220/5 in 20 overs. Opening the innings, wicketkeeper-batsman Amit Passi delivered a brilliant century, while Bhanu Pania supported him with an unbeaten 28 runs off 15 balls.
Chasing a target of 221, the Services team could manage only 207 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs.
