The biggest topic of discussion in the IPL world right now is Sanju Samson. Reports suggest that a trade deal between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings is almost finalized. If this happens, it could prove to be one of the most interesting trades in IPL history in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson's birthday has also arrived. He turned 31 today, November 11. Chennai Super Kings wished him a happy birthday from their official social media account. The post read – “Sanju, may you be blessed with immense strength! Happy Birthday!”
However, neither of the two franchises – Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings – has yet issued an official statement on this deal. But according to sources, everything is almost finalized and a formal announcement can be made soon.
According to sources, information about this potential trade deal may come to light on November 15, when IPL teams release their retention lists. An official confirmation related to this deal is likely at that time.
According to a Cricbuzz report, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have formally initiated the trade process. The report states that discussions between the two teams are in the final stages.
According to IPL rules, it takes about 48 hours to officially finalize any trade. This means that if both teams have reached an agreement, the announcement of the deal will not take more than two days.
According to media reports, Rajasthan Royals could receive Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran from Chennai Super Kings in this deal. Both players have played important roles for Chennai. This exchange could signal major changes for both teams.
If this deal materializes, it will also be considered a homecoming for Ravindra Jadeja, as he started his career playing for Rajasthan Royals. Now it remains to be seen whether this discussion becomes a reality on November 15 or proves to be just a rumor.
