If he achieves this, he will become the fastest player to reach the mark, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar, who took 350 innings to do so. Apart from Tendulkar, Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara is the only other batter to have crossed this milestone.

Kohli has the chance to become the third-highest run-scorer in international cricket, surpassing former Australian captain Ricky Ponting. Currently, Kohli has 27,381 runs from 545 matches across all formats. If he scores at least 103 runs in the Champions Trophy, he will overtake Ponting, who accumulated 27,483 runs in 560 matches.

Kohli is also on track to become the second-highest run-getter in ODI history. He needs 271 more runs to surpass Kumar Sangakkara, who scored 14,234 runs in 404 ODIs. Additionally, Kohli can improve his fielding record by moving up in the list of most catches taken by an outfielder in ODIs. With 154 catches, he is currently fourth on the list and needs just three more to surpass Mohammad Azharuddin (156) and seven more to overtake Ricky Ponting (160). The all-time record belongs to Mahela Jayawardene, who took 218 catches.
